When a prior incision left a visible line.
Visible incision lines, pigment change, or contour irregularity from a previous under-eye surgery — a revision concern addressed surgically, with laser, and over the scar's maturation.
What this addresses
- Visible darker or raised scar lines from a prior incision
- Hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation around the old incision
- Contour irregularity at incision junctions
- Tethered or adherent scars from previous surgery affecting movement
Scar and contour concerns after surgery require individual diagnosis, not a one-size protocol. ST’s recovery-care materials include laser toning and related options when skin recovery or pigmentation needs support alongside surgical revision.
The Process
Scar Mapping
Photograph and palpate. We classify each scar as hypertrophic, atrophic, or pigmented for tailored treatment.
Surgical Revision
Excision and re-closure with attention to tension vector and final line orientation.
Adjunctive Therapy
Silicone gel, intra-lesional steroid, or laser as appropriate over the maturation period.
Year-long Care
Scars mature for a full year. We follow at 1, 3, 6, and 12 months.

“Under-eye correction begins by identifying the cause: fat, groove, support, pigmentation, prior procedure change, or a mixed pattern.”
Frequently asked
Rarely fully invisible. The honest aim is to take a visible scar to the point where casual observation does not detect it — we set that expectation directly rather than overpromise.
Laser helps with pigmentation and texture but cannot reorient or excise problematic scar tissue from a prior surgery. We combine modalities to the cause.
